Wheel wooden 18" with cap taper hub

Traditional ships wheel constructed in acacia timber. Laminated and dowel construction for long life and strength. 6 turned spokes.

Finished in a durable high gloss lacquer.

Centre hub is solid brass with a taper and keyway to fit the steering shaft. Not to be confused with decorative models that often come with a non tapered boss. Complete with a stainless steel cap.
